The teacher

Judit Elisebet was born in a small village among the beautiful fjords and mountains of Norway. Her journey of following her heart lead her through different countries and landscapes far away from her home country. Her passion for old cultures, art, meeting people from all walks of life, and teachings that dive into the deep questions of life, led her through many years of travelling and exploration. After living in different places and learning from different traditions and teachers, her heart finally found home when meeting her Guru for the first time, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev in 2014. Having India as her second home since 2008, where Yoga and meditation was her main focus, she felt a deep gratitude and a deep sense of wonder to have got access to the depth and authenticity of Sadhgurus teachings, and the space he offered in South India. She ended up living in his ashram in India for a few years, practicing and volunteering. She took her Hatha Yoga teacher training in the Isha Yoga Center in 2018, and is now sharing the knowledge and depth of classical Hatha Yoga.

About Yoga and how we teach.

"We teach Hatha Yoga as a transformative process. The transformation will not only be on the level of your body but in the way you are." - Sadhguru

“The word ‘Yoga’ means ‘union.’ Union means you begin to experience the universality of who you are. For example, today, modern science proves to you beyond any doubt that the whole existence is just one energy manifesting itself in various forms. If this scientific fact becomes a living reality for you – that you begin to experience everything as one – then you are in Yoga. When you are in Yoga, you experience everything as a part of yourself. That is liberation, that is mukti, that is ultimate freedom.” -Sadhguru

Initially, Yoga was imparted by the Adiyogi (the first yogi), Shiva, over 15,000 years ago. It was Adiyogi who introduced to humanity the idea that one can evolve beyond one’s present level of existence. He poured his knowing into the legendary Sapta Rishis, or seven sages, who took the tremendous possibility offered by the yogic science to various parts of the world, including Asia, ancient Persia, northern Africa, and South America. It is this fundamental yet sophisticated science of elevating human consciousness that is the source of the world’s spiritual traditions, predating religion by many thousands of years. Yoga is about attaining absolute Balance, piercing Clarity, and an inexhaustible Exuberance. With this, you are immensely fit for life.
